Our story
Two generations. One promise of quality.
From Julissa’s Meat Market to Carnicería 99 — a family business built on tradition, hard work, and serving Hermiston right.
Bienvenidos
A family-owned carnicería with deep roots
Carnicería 99 was built on tradition, hard work, and community. The business was originally founded as Julissa’s Meat Market and was later passed down from father to son and his family.
With the new generation taking over, the market was rebranded as Carnicería 99 — while continuing the same commitment to quality products and customer service the community has known for years. What makes us unique is simple: we’re a family-owned business that shows up to serve our neighbors every single day.
Open daily, we’re here with fresh products, quality meats, and dependable service our customers can count on — backed by about twenty years of butcher experience.
From then to now
The story behind the name
- 01
The beginning
Julissa’s Meat Market
It started as a family-owned, family-operated meat market — built on tradition, hard work, and serving the community right, one fresh cut at a time.
- 02
Passed down
From father to son
The market was handed down from father to son and his family — carrying forward two decades of butcher know-how and the same promise of quality the community had come to count on.
- 03
Today
Reborn as Carnicería 99
The new generation rebranded the market as Carnicería 99 — a cleaner, more modern store, with the very same commitment to quality products and customer service.
